Kamui’s response for driving in Caterham

“I have to say they’re not really happy about my decision. But I said to Stefano [Domenicali], ‘This is my dream, to be in Formula 1, and I think this is the last chance to be a race driver’,” Kobayashi said.

“He gave me a good offer but unfortunately I had to decide this way. This is all my decision and definitely I had to say to Stefano thanks for all the support last year. It was a very great experience for me but I’m here for Formula 1, not for driving GT.”

Kamui Kobayashi has admitted that Ferrari “are not really happy” with his decision to turn down another season of sportscar racing and resurrect his F1 career at Caterham.

Well, this might sound too cheesy but I guess it sounds FUN. Looking forward for more interesting things to happen in this season! Let’s bring it on and let the GAME begin!

Kobayashi’s Comeback in Formula One

Kamui on Caterham F1 Team

As an avid fan of Kamui Kobayashi, I am now genuinely excited for 2014 Formula One.  This is because Caterham has reinstated the Japanese wild-man in auto racing.  “Difficult and easy…” Caterham boss, Tony Fernandes said. That’s how he feels about this most awaited comeback of Kobayashi.  I can only agree.  Since 2012, as one of Kobayashi’s fans, I have been in full support of chucking out donations through KAMUI SUPPORT so we can see him get a drive in Formula One.

It was almost devastating when Sauber axed him in 2012 and since I do see Kobayashi living his life to drive and to be in Formula One, Caterham has just regained my idol’s footing in open wheel auto racing.  Honestly, I expect Kobayashi to be in Formula One for good.  He’s born to be in Formula One.  During the 2009 Brazilian Grand Prix, Jenson Button tagged Kobayashi as “absolutely crazy, very aggressive” by Jenson Button when he had managed to fend off the charging Button using only racing nous and testes made of carbon fibre in many laps during that memorable race.  He just got what it takes to be a Formula One racer and I know that with all the hurdles, Kobayashi can use up all his pent up emotions as he takes the wheel again and race in Formula One.

Kobayashi was impressed with Caterham’s facility and its personnel as they put high value in Formula One.  Same here because finally, there’s Caterham who stood up for Kobayashi.  Kobayashi has already expressed his gratitude to Caterham for signing him in for 2014 Formula One.  But it should really be us, his followers who should be thanking Caterham for giving Kobayashi this chance to get him back on the Formula One track.

KAMUI KOBAYASHI IS BACK!

Kamui Kobayashi has these in store for his fans in 2014:  Caterham, Formula One and fashionable driving sunglasses.

Kamui Alpha

Have you checked out those fantastic driving glasses that Japanese F1 racer Kamui Kobayashi has been wearing in recent photos taken when Caterham signed him in along with Marcus Ericsson to drive for 2014 Formula One?  It just makes my heart beat faster.  Of course, I’ve been gearing up for a Kobayashi comeback in F1 races with Caterham at the helm so it just completes the whole deal seeing my open wheel racing favourite doing it in style!

The seemingly specially crafted pair of driving eyewear that Kobayashi was wearing in the photos has cast a hungry and aggressive aura in the Formula One racer.  I sincerely wished for me to get the same for myself.  I just got to have those Kamui glasses and I do hope that this eyewear brand can easily be purchased online.  If Kamui Kobayashi trusts this brand of shades, then this surely does not only give him style and comfort but is definitely helping him out while he is driving.  I also wonder if this brand has its line of night driving glasses.

The mere idea of having the same set of eyewear as what thegreat Kamui Kobayashi is wearing in the recent Caterham public announcement for the 2014 Formula One races gives me hope of coming close to becoming an acceptable driver even if I just drive an ordinary sedan.

So, there it is, I hope my post gets Kamui’s attention or hopefully that of the eyewear’s manufacturer.  But, I am definitely calling out all fellow Kamui fans out there to whatever it takes to root for our Formula One icon especially as he drives in Caterham this year.  Here’s to Kamui enabling his dreams and again, let me add, in style.
